Music Lesson Subsidy

The Braille Tone Music Society provides subsidized private music instruction for persons with disabilities. Partnering with local music teachers and schools of music, these students receive weekly half-hour lessons in their instrument of choice, with our teachers currently able to provide instruction in voice, piano, guitar and percussion.

If you are interested, please apply below. After your application has been approved, you will be matched with one of our music teachers, and they will get in touch with you to arrange a lesson time.

While the Braille Tone Music Society heavily subsidizes private music lessons, there may be a minimal cost to the student, depending upon the rates of the teacher with whom they are matched.

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently at capacity for music lesson subsidy students, and unfortunately we have temporarily paused all intake for our subsidy as we work to secure sustainable funding for the program.
