Did you know?
The Braille Tone Music Society (BTMS) is a Registered Charity that provides musical enrichment for persons with disabilities in the Edmonton area. Our programming currently includes the Braille Tone Choir, the Semitones Children’s and Youth Choir, and funding for private music lessons. The organization originally offered services geared towards persons with visual impairments (thus the name) but has since expanded to serve persons with all disabilities.
Donations to the BTMS help fund and expand our programs. There is no fee to join our choirs, as we aim to make them as accessible as possible. Our organization relies entirely on federal and provincial grants, casino funds, and donations to operate.
Thank you for supporting our mission to empower individuals of varying abilities to pursue professional instruction in music in an inclusive and fun atmosphere!
